It's'a me, a Rico! :3So guys, this is my new style for anthro, currently restricted to canines, i thought i'd take a more realistic approach.

The arms, legs and paws look really good here, but what confuses me is how Rico's body is turned. It's difficult to tell if his body is fixed straight towards us, or turned slightly to the side.

This style is rather more natural, as you say. it's more animallistic than the previous style, given the overall structure, and posture.

With this new style, i like the fact that you can still tell that it's anthro, not feral, yet it still has some main canine characteristics :3

Cool work, it looks pretty realistic, although the wrists could do with being made a bit larger, they look kinda fragile!

Thanks! ^^ I agree with you, however, it IS MY fursona, and i'm pretty thin :3 If i made the wrists bigger, i think i would have had to make the whole hand bigger to compensate.

I really admire how you did the paws here, they're drawn so you can almost feel the weight that they are holding and how the pad underneath rests against the floor.
Critique? Well I'll give it a go.
The head seems to me somehow that the right side eye is just a smidge too low down compared to the other eye, though to say that is me being nitpicky.
For the most part the back legs are great and you have the musculature right as far as I know, but I feel the white inner leg fur on the right leg goes up and out a bit too far, and so it alters how you percieve the leg shape and how he's crouching, knocking it off a bit.
Also, there are a few strands of long fut around the neck and chest (especially on the left side) that seem to be positioned awkwardly. They should possibly hang down or follow the curve of the arm muscle as so not to seem out of place. Then again, as I am well aware fur has a life of it's own and is not confined to one direction.
Before I finish, may I just say how I adore how the tail flicks over, you've gotten the thickness and how such a tail would fall just right.
Phew, first critique over and done. Hope I'm not too harsh or confusing.
(I think you've really improved already and are doing great! So I hope I don't seem pessimistic in the critique

About the ight leg, i thought that when i was drawing it, but i just decided not to change it for some reason, next time i draw i bloody well better get this right x3
the long fur is the headfur, coming from round the back of the neck, hance why it's the same colour as the longer fur on his head, but i probably could have positioned it better :3
Hehe, thanks a lot, i love that part! My fursona is mainly husky (doesn't look like it i know XD) and that tail flick is because of that ^^
you didn't seem pesimistic at all, i appreciate the openness of it, i'm sure there is LOTS more wrong with the picture, for example, having too much black around the eyes, that's not the specific design, it's just my failiure at drawing eyes.
