These are my working digivices, I also have a dark blue one but it's broken .__.The lavender/pink digivice is Japanese (making it waay better) while the orange one is the one released in America. Thus the differences between them. The green one is from season 2, which I really didn't watch any of, I just watched Digimon the Movie <3
This is reason numba 5 million why I have no life:

I opened it up and poked around a bit not long after it broke, the insides were interesting, they look like a little city XD
I kept it for looks >>;
I keep the blue one clipped on my bag, since I don't have to worry about it beeping or getting broken I can just tote it around anywhere >:3

Neat! digivices are amusing. I have two from second season and one from third season. So what did you do with the broken one. Did you just leave it just for looks or did you break it open to look inside of it after you knew it did not work anymore? If I had a broken one, I would try to open it up and look at the parts.
