A Tornado off the coast of New Plymouth Taranaki, New Zealand.We get alot of Tornado's in Taranaki or Tornado's just off the coast, we even now have a Tornado season haha. Which sounds weird but the Newspaper always mentions it.
Its not as powerful as it looks, you could get your boat right up next to it and it wouldn't do anything.
The Tornado is smaller than it looks because of the zoom.

Small note though (and if someone(s) already mentioned this to you, sorry in advance v.v); this is a great picture, but it's not a picture of a tornado, I don't think - it's a water spout.

This is a beautiful waterspout/tornado! Tornados are always happening in places that I never thought actually HAD tornados. Awesome!!!!

To be honest though, if it's over water, I think it's considered a Water Spout. I might be wrong though ^_^,

Haha well this one wasn't that powerful, it was only a water spout. We do get some decent ones there though. Well move to New Zealand then! the whole country is beautiful and looks like the Lord Of The Rings lol.

I wish they would make the Silmerillion into a movie...or a better hobbit one there...hahahaa I just might if America turns out to elect Sarah Pallin...Idk if you've heard of her there, but she would ruin us, not cause shes a woman, but just because shes a racist dumb-head....so I might jump ship and move there definitely!

Yes of course I know who Sarah Palins is! Shes an absolute joke! I'm surprised that people take her seriously in America. A person like that would NEVER get a look-in in New Zealand politics lol. Our countries a very similar in culture, but at the same time very different too.

In the school system I was in it was an option to take World History ^^. I definitely did ^^, but yah...in alot of places its optional....which is pathetic to me...I love culture so its sad to me that people are so xenophobic. I was part of International Ambassadors Society in high school, which is a club thats focus is to start our generation in a dialog about culture.....it was alot of fun ^^.
I loves BBC.....too bad it only comes on NPR at 10pm til like 3am @__@ ^^.

Where do you think I could see them? I've always wanted to see one. I wanted to be a storm chaser when I was younger. I saw once when I was camping in Ohope, in the North Island. Yeah my family's moving there. We lived there before, we're moving back.
