In Power Rangers SPD ( the American version of Tokusou Sentai Dekaranger )Boom, the tester of all the prototype weapons for the rangers had always dreamt of being a ranger, sadly he never passed the academy hence he became a "tester"
in one episode he day dreamed that he saved the rangers as SPD Orange Ranger.
The costume design was a simple combination of a Deka suit with a numeric "0" and a helmet from Power Rangers in Space.
I kinda wish Disney took this advantage to create their own design as Saban did with the Titanium Ranger.
So i made this, i think Boom would have been very happy

Hey, at least Boom -in a sense- finally became a Ranger in Ninja Steel. Cried tears of joy at that scene.

My thing is... if Disney had went through the trouble of creating that suit and helmet in the first place why didn't they just take it all the way closer to the finale and make Boom the orange ranger?
It's whatever. SPD is still one of the best seasons to date. Just a minor gripe lol

I loved Boom. I think that it would have been nice if in "Endings Part 2," they showed Boom taking Bridge's place as B-Squad Green Ranger when Bridge was promoted to Blue and Sky was promoted to Red.

Since the black part over the visor under the Doggie Badge, symbolizes their number, as 0 shouldn't there not be a black part?

yes, that is true, however the black part symbolizes the Windshield window on their respective mecha vehicles. if i was going for "your" suggestion. (which there is a "black part" under the badge already) are you asking me to take away the the black part to represent the zero which might mean that his mecha vehicle will not have a Windshield window to view through? 0_o

It is a shame this costume wasn't used outside of the dream. Admittedly orange is my favourite colour and I would like to see more orange sentai/rangers. Regardless nice work on this piece

I'm glad orange is being used more. I love the fact ToQger not only "broke" the "sixth ranger is metallic" trend that had been going for a while (and I personally found it was getting quite stale), but also brought back Orange for that role. I also like how Kyuranger used Ornage, Violet and Cyan/Sky Blue; I just wish they made Houou Soldier Crimson rather than another Red.

I'm serious. The way his character was set up via "wanted to be ranger" made it all the more plausible that he would become the Omega Ranger.

Consdering it was a dream, and that the A-Squad were reporposed IS, and Time Force was a early suit, it kinda makes sense he would have a revision Space helm. That said A unique design would have been cool. Course Boom's physical limitations would no have prevented him from being a ranger in my Operation: Turbo, my red ranger this is a overweight programmer but gets a body upgrade (like Justin in turbo) when morphing.
Personally i would have probably had SPD orange have the 0 go the full length of the chest if we were going for original design, and the helmet wouldn't have the little crescent you have there instead the visor would just flow back across the helmet since it's 'zero' it wouldn't have the divide space and the only way to do that is to omit it or pull the visor all the way around.
Though i'd also be kinda curious to see what A-Squad would look like out of their Perma-Swat armor and with with proper SPD Helms, as well as a true "original ranger" for Sky's Dad. Though for that one i would imagine he was Pre A and B squad so he would be part of a original team that eventually evolves into SPD suits Maybe a variant of Turboranger (not Carranger/PR Turbo, the other one)?

as for the helmet..... the visor flowing all the way back is cool, but where would the crest be? it be like a police hat without a a badge on it....
