If you were to ask about his past, he'd be open about being raised by a remote tribe, along with many other lost, orphaned, or abandoned children. But you probably wouldn't get much more than that. Cal isn’t too fussed about the moral character of those who trade with him - bloodsoaked bandits get the same treatment as starry-eyed adolescents.
