again! glasses can not bare 'emotion' I got them because they are converse glasses not 'emo' glasses, there is no 'emo' all music should be about emotion none is on a higher plan than another...and the tag is overrated, overused and miss used...please stop with the 'emo glasses' comments...please.

ether-rag In reply to ridethestars [2003-10-21 09:44:06 +0000 UTC]
I dont think that anyone meant that the glasses could bare emotions, we only meant that many ppl who consider themselves emo have similar glasses. Also music can have varying levels of emotion, It's called emo because its chock full of it. Sorry for commenting on your pic, It wont happen again. I shall go listen to my "overated tag here" music.........

yes once again because glasses can bare emotion.
god damn it people stop using that highly overrated and over used word.
I guess buddy holly was 'emotional' than since he started the whole horn rim glasses fad....I hate people.

Hmm, it must be nice to be able to focus WITHOUT your glasses on- or was it automatic? = ) My corrective lenses just had a heart attack yesterday and broke right down the middle. sigh.
Anyhow... i'm adding this one to my fav's, it makes me happy. Oh yes and thank you kindly for your comment on my "poor quality" photo - "the everlasting gaze".
I laughed when i first read that, but I know what you meant.
Do you prefer digital? Well, you make it work- lovely gallery.

Well, you've gotten lots of comments on this one, but I skipped most of them so I could write my own.
I really like how you aligned the far end of the depth of field so it's right at the far edge of the glasses. Combined with the reflection from whatever the white object is in the back left, it creates the really neat effect of the wood grain from the table dissapearing. I'm very impressed. That being said, I don't particularly like the way the table angles toward the camera... don't know exactly how I'd change it (perhaps eleiminating the white-ish object under the table to the right?).
Anyway, very cool.

We have ... almost the exact same glasses. I like the green tone of the pictures and how the table and glasses look dirty and scratched up you know, dust and stuff. Nice man.

it seems like the glasses are floating a little off the table. i don't know why.... probably a slow shutter speed or something.
man i wish my good camera would work.......

Hm! Nice work of planes! I like the fact that the focus is in the foreground, really crisp, and then blurs out past the glasses. I don't know if that was what you were going for, but it suits!
