Description I made this as a practice piece from "Pen and Ink Techniques" by Frank Lohan.
This was my first lesson from the book, on creating the texture of an old beat up barrel.
 imo the book was pretty useful, as i am just starting to use pens, it explains pretty much everything beautifully.
