Oh wow I could easily mistake this for a photo at a distance those swirling clouds look absolutely stunning! Goodness you really captured their soft and inconsistent form, it's really beautiful. Gorgeous colours too, that hint of intense red really completes it.
As always the level of detail is super impressive, amazing work!

That sky is gorgeous, beautifully swirly and colourful against the geometric, rigid foreground.

Stunning, lovely shades in the sky and I love the subtle shades in the buildings and wire which make the eyes concentrate on the sky before working down the painting.

Thank you!
Oh no, I don’t have paints at work, and besides, susets are too fleeting.

I like this very much. It reminds me that even in a seemingly bleak, urban/industrial landscape there is beauty to be found. The shapes of the colour-desaturated structures and the way they contrast with the shapeless but colourful sky makes a very good point, and I like it that there is an area of the painting where the most intricate shapes and the most vibrant colours meet.

Thank you for commenting! I have not looked at it that way. I don’t really distinguish anthropogenic landscapes from “natural” ones, after all, almost all of Europe has been modified by human activity since the Neolithic times (with the exception of mountain tops and places like that).
I actually did not succeed in what attracted me to this scene initially: there were three elongated clouds, one orange, one magenta and one dirty purple, running parallel to the power lines, as if the lines are summoning the clouds. But regardless, I don’t consider it a total failure in the end.

This looks beautful! I can see you have great control over using the watercolor medium. Both the sky and the minor details of the power lines look great.
