Yes, its not accurate to the Midnigth Gentlemen G stuff. But it works pretty fine for their time device.

Well, my dad had aquired a box full of watch parts years ago. I broke the glass front on a piece of watch jewelry he gave me, and this was me fixing it xD So it never worked.

Its an anime, but its actually really hard to get a hold of, its still pretty rare in Japan and I only know it cause I got a disk off a family friend who used to teach university there...
