My entry for 's May contest - the theme was to include rain and plants/flowers.I've been thinking of this idea for a while - ai ai gasa (the "Love-Love-Umbrella" - though I've been told it more accurately translates to "Together Joint Umbrella"). Sharing an umbrella can be seen as a romantic gesture in Japan and instead of carving initials in a tree, they draw the ai-ai-gasa with their names to symbolize coupledom.
This sort of turned out how I wanted - I wanted it to be a little blurry like a watercolor to go with the mood and background.

Okay I've been seeing this picture everywhere for a long time, and at first I thought it was an episode from the actual show...but when I looked closer, I could tell it was fanart, so I wanted to find the artist who drew it. Thankfully, I found you!

They look incredible. I´ve always wanted to see a picture like that, Inuyasha and Kagome under a umbrella. I love how well you are able to draw them, and I wish I could too. Awesome job.

I love the colors, they mix so well. And, not to mention, the fact that you used a rain that has light. Those are my favorite, the rains that are a bit sunny.. and the most beautiful.
InuYasha and Kagome's positions are so well done, especially Kagome's face. I can not do that position for the life of me

Thank you! I colored as normal and then put a gaussian blur on the whole thing to get the soft focus effect.
