I'm trying so hard to digitally paintI have always wanted to do digital paintings of settings/environments and by god I will PRACTICE!!
This is Honora's guild base, nestled in the southeastern sect of the [still needs name lol] city. I'm really trying to work with color and value now so I quit this one pretty early. I'd rather do a lot of quick paintings than a few super long ones. And yeah, the city's HUMONGOUS. The walls are thousands of feet high, composed of buildings built on top of each other.. just stack stack stack... When they need to expand, they just start building a new row/"wall" outside and eventually it becomes the new city border. They're dangerous and fail all safety checks! Hooray!!!

Kind of reminds me of the New Pork City stage in SSB Brawl, how they took the original city and stacked it into a wall of buildings. Anyone else?

I'm getting a serious Ravnica vibe from this city - and I loved Ravnica as a setting.
Plus, urban PMD is certainly a new spin on the series. I want to see more!

This reminds me of a comic called Amulet. You should check it out, it's by Kazu Kibuishi. Have fun with your practice, the originality is already evolving into something amazing, I can feel it.
