That's really awesome, yeah don't compromise your vision just because it takes a lot of work. It's really worth it and many may not appreciate it, but some, like me, do. Art is worth all the work you put into it.

Unfortunately many people underestimate my work and some quick sketches of other people have a lot more appreciation than my many hours drawings

Awww that really sucks. That is a plague of the artist. I know many a musician who got famous off some half-assed thing they threw together and nobody appreciates their deep stuff. There will always be those few who take the time to appreciate though.

There is some, don't give up hope. I know it's easy to and something I have troubles with. Just keep on plugging away. Make art for yourself or those few who do appreciate it. You sound kinda sad... so here have more hugs

Yeah I feel like that too. I feel sad, nothing is worth doing, everything is wasted effort, nothing matters, can't do it, not good enough, don't like the way I look, have too many problems, it's too much to deal with... it makes me want to give up too.
I don't mean to go on about myself though, just wanted to show you I understand.
What makes you not feel like doing anything and giving up?
What are you referring to with waiting too long for something?
