Description This was actually HUGE pain in my ass... i was about to die to sleepiness when i had INKED this for five hours... TT^TT Making this took me about 11-12 hours. Huf, really, i'm so slow. >_<

Well, i really like it!! It's so colorful and bright!! <3 I'm happy i could draw this! The text "Playing The Melody" is not straight in the middle, but please don't care about that

But what was the most difficult part? The SKIRT OF COURSE!! Golden is so hard to do!! Never again. Almost.

I can't draw roses, as you can see. They're the ugliest part of this artpiece, hohhoh... TT_TT

I used: Copic ciao, watercolor, white ink, copic multiliner SP, toothbrush!! I really hope you like it!! ^3^

Thank you so much I was trying to create very soft atmosphere!
Toothbrush Yeah, I dip the brush into white watercolor and then splatter it on the paper But it's better to use airbrush system, I just didn't have it yet when I drew Playing the Melody!

Oh no it doesn't make very good marks... :--D Try it first on some clean paper before you ruin your real work

Ahaha, toothbrush :--D It's hard to explain. I dip the brush into white watercolor and kind of splatter it on the paper... Um. White spots are made with this technique.

Well, this drawing was worth the effort, I think, it ended up being really beautiful! ^^
I love the soft tones you used here, with so much light grey and the small touches of colour like the red roses. It gives it all a very soft atmosphere (:
The character is lovely, and the only thing I'd point out are those short fingers of hers, in my opinion they are a bit too small for her. And about the roses, I don't think they are as bad as you say, I'd only advice to make the petals more rounded, not pointy... but well, if you take a look to some photographs instead of listening to me, I'm sure your roses will get more realistic
Apart from that, I love her and the whole "musical" idea of the drawing.

Thank you very much for your critique, I really appreciate it! I really tried to make a clear and soft atmosphere, I'm glad I was able to do that
Hands may look a bit tiny, but I usually draw them look like my own hands That's why. I think long fingers make people look so skinny... but you have your opinion, I remember it when I'm drawing hands next time
I think I'm better at drawing roses now (It's been a year since I drew "Playing the Melody"). It's true that rose petals are more rounded.

About hands, I suppose is more a style thing; the truth is that I'm used to make them longer and maybe that's why they looked a bit funny to me, but well, as you said, there are also people with small hands! XD
