PERSONALITY
     Despite his standoffish demeanor, Ilquinis' personality is surprisingly warm and sweet. He's fond of small and cute animals (or people), and doesn't make any particular effort to hide this fact. Ilquinis would never vocalize this, but he doesn't mind harmless displays of affection either (he loves getting hugs from Ayre, actually ♥) although he will very rarely initiate this. Don't expect a response beyond a flustered stutter or flushed cheeks, though! Ilquinis is pretty terrible at expressing his feelings and thoughts, which tends to cause quite a few awkward moments.
     Ilquinis holds his relationships with the other gods in extremely high regard, as well as with the two rulers of Elavernis whom he considers to be like blood brothers. Should anything pose a threat to those he cares about, Ilquinis' primal dragon instincts immediately kick in, altering his appearance and revealing a much more aggressive and chaotic side to his personality.

HISTORY
♦ History of the Voleros Gods
     After the creation of Elavernis, Ilquinis has resided there peacefully for millions of years, quietly reveling in the tranquility and beauty of his own country. As he has outlived thousands of generations of mortal life, Ilquinis is wary of establishing intimate relationships with mortals (he's afraid to get his heart broken QAQ! /brick'd). Although he's met many during his lifetime and developed strong feelings for certain mortals along the way, Ilquinis has essentially always been alone.

MISCELLANEOUS
♦ Don't trample over his flower gardens, it will make him weep on the inside LMFAO.
♦ Ilquinis' upper back is extremely sensitive between the base of his wings. This is why he wears a heavy cloak as an extra guard for his back.
♦ His mood directly parallels Elavernis' weather. Ilquinis is usually calm and collected, but a foul mood will wreck havoc anywhere from a relentless typhoon to a violent thunderstorm.
♦ One of the small ways Ilqui likes to show his affection is just by simply wrapping his arms around someone and enclosing his wings around them ♥
♦ His presence in another seasonal country will cause a light spring breeze to stir and plant forms to flourish and blossom around his vicinity, even in the wintry cold of Lumeria.
♦ Ilquinis isn't terribly outspoken, but he's not shy, either! Don't be afraid to approach him!
♦ Acts insanely juvenile and immature around Mei (with the other gods as well, but mostly with Mei)
