OK, I usually not post rough/ uncolored stuff, but this time, I asked someone else to do the colors instead of myself.The theme of this work is peach blossoms
I really like 's work, so freshy and colorful, so I send a note to ask if it was possible to some colors for me, and me for her, and she accepted!
I'm really looking forward to see who the styles will get along together!

Over all I think the vision of the person in the kimono is very solid and there. My eyes were drawn to both the wearer's face and the kimono itself at first glance.
The left upper arm seems a little off, on the section just above her stomach, with the four tied bow on that side. When you compare it to the right, while the creases are right, the right arm is slightly too short. By raising the right arm up slightly or even down, and lengthening it a bit, it would even it out.
The only other thing I found would be to even out the sleeves at the kimono. While the stance, which is turned slightly to the side, would give an impression of one being shorter, it wouldn't be to that degree. One has a more rounded bottom, while the other has a flatter edge line. By changing this slightly, it would even it out more visually.
Other then those two things, I couldn't really find a problem. It has an almost serene look to the smile, which can be hard to capture, especially with line art. The flower is drawn with just enough detail so you can tell what it is. The hair seems very soft yet wavy. The rest of the kimono is shaped well, and defined without too much detail.

I usually do not post lineart on Deviant, because when I post a picture here, I give a link to a page where people can download the art-book from where the image is excerpt. So basically all the linearts can be downloaded at the same time with the colorized version.
But this time I posted 2 pieces because I asked a Deviant friend if she could colorize the pictures for me (she uses copic markers which I actually never uses and she did great job =d I wanted to see how it could be with traditional ways of coloring ^^
So if you wanna see more lineart, don't hesitate to follow the links I always provide in the description haha

You'd be surpised and if you post line arts and let other people colour them you tend to get a couple of people that will. And as you saw i have a couple of re-colours in my gallery too ^^

I would post it in your artist comment when you post you line arts, but some people do like to colour things and i am sure you will get more famous soon. The more art you submit the more likely you are to get attention and clubs are a good way to get your art notised which is the trick on here to be honest.

Yeah, I've decided to try to make my deviant more attractive & try to be noticed among all the artists here lately these days, and I'm starting to see some results and it makes me wanna give the best of myself
