I decided to add them to Holy Maiden as the "Evil", more about them :

Conquête ( Conquest / sometimes wrongly called pestillance ) : The White Horse represent Victory and The Plague.
I based him following the information I gathered on the " Black Death " / La Peste Noire which heavily affected the European population. ( Around year 1300 if I remember )
Here an interesting and yet shocking info : The Jewishes were MADE responsible by the Church for the plague. It came to the point that French aristocrats had to emprisonned the jewish people to PROTECT them from the raging population.

Guerre ( War ) : The Red Horse which obviously represent the War.
Nothing particular to say about it.

Famine ( Famine x) ) : The Black Horse.
I don't understand why people always represent Famine as a real skinny person. "He" doesn't suffer from the Famine, "he" PROVOKE it by raising the prices of foods products; Except for oil and wine which were considered as luxurious products.

Mort ( Death ) : The Pale Horse.
Followed by the Hell, "he" provoke Death. Hell is the Greek Hell governed by Hades, Death is often described has the executor of Hades; Hades judge the dead and either lead them to their next incarnation, either punish them in the Styx.

Well, I simplified it A LOT so if you're interested about the subject I advise to go take a look for yourself

SIDE NOTE : I talked about them as "he", that is because although they're usually portrayed as men, I choose to portray them as genderless
