Well, I was planning on going to bed by 4. . . it's now 7:30. . . so much for trying to get back on my sleep schedule. I should've been drawing something else, but my hand didn't want to draw that, so I was gonna do a "quick" sketch of my baby girl Mao, who has been neglected for the past several months, but I got carried away while playing around on my newly acquired Paint Tool Sai. It's nice to see that I haven't lost my touch when it comes to my Yugioh style. . . in fact, I think I got better at it
That Duel Disk was killer, as always, and it's quite obvious that I got lazy on it and the cards. Now then, I'm gonna go pass out for a bit.

Aww, thank you ^^ And you'll continue to improve as long as you keep at it. I've been drawing for hours on end everyday for like two weeks now, I think, and it really helps. Sometimes I just draw body models to get the hang of different poses. Just keep at it and I'm sure you'll get to where you wanna be.

My biggest problem is that (among other things) I've never had any real art classes, and the only classes I can find only accept people who are already very well adept at drawing and the like (If I had that sort of experience, then I wouldn't NEED such classes!). So the only way I can draw anything is if I have a base to use :/
Kinda hard to feel proud of my work when someone else has already done the hardest parts for me :/

Oh well, don't worry about that, hon. I used to use bases too. I'm also self-taught. I only took one art class, and I quit going after the first day xD Just go at your own pace and eventually you'll like what you draw. I'm still not at the level I wanna be at, and I've been drawing for over 7 years. Everything takes time and everyone learns at a different speed than everyone else. Just keep at it

I missed her too. The guilt of ignoring her for so long finally got to me, and I had to draw her, even though I should've been drawing Nate and Nidoran.
