after many years of of expectancy, last year the works for the "light urban train" have started in Tel Aviv. Since the traffic in Tel Aviv is extremely difficult on the background of very poor transportation in-common and an unbelievable high number of private vehicles, people were quite satisfied (fearing for sure also the "temporary" sufferance) with this decision that has been delayed for about 45 years due to various reasons (the first reason known to me was the Yom Kippur war in 1973). Nevertheless, in the meantime, transportation is worse... on its way of improvement. This huge program, perhaps the greatest ever done in the country, involves several excavations in the heart of the city and shall last a minimum of six years (first estimation). One of the ways to isolate the sight of building sites is to frame them by huge panels building eventually true walls ... Nothing better than this to be used for advertising and street art ...
