Oh, a fun shoot indeed. Model definitely liked the black better than the blue and white Improv studio. Misty knew then owners of the tattoo shop and was allowed use of the place for the Sunday afternoon.A couple of 600W strobes with two soft boxes provided the light. Thanks It's taken about 4 or 5 shoots for us to get proficient with the lights, triggers and cameras ... and this was the inaugural shoot for the D300, which I'd had since the Friday !!! Came out well.

Nah, doing a shoot for a product line and it took tow of us 2 days to convince the client that available light wasn't going to cut it The other shooter bought the lights, I got brought in because I was recommended as being able to shoot good photos !!On the other hand, I am sorely tempted to buy a set myself ... also a small generator or battery pack for out door use

A friend of mine was talking about rigging up a battery pack you could wear as a backpack. What sort of output would you need?

Since I'm considering 240 lights, quite a lot More than a back pack would supply If I want to go mobile, I can probably get away with a couple of sb800s + sd8as and remote triggers, but this gets expensive REAL fast. Thanks for the thoughts, though
