"He's lifted heavy rocks,
He's pushed large blocks,
Encountered resistance from a dinosaur... or two...
But in the end, all this prepared him for the most important catch of his life."

I love Starfox Adventures far too much for my own good.

As you can probably guess, this was inspired by the number or times Fox McCloud's strength was called into play during his mission on Dinosaur Planet and how it probably helped him build up his power so that when it came to it, he wouldn't drop Krystal.

Whilst it wouldn't be something he wouldn't consciously would think about, you can't help but wonder if the Krazoa Spirits had a sneaky hand to play.

I love this! You did a lovely job on this little comic. I'm not that much of a Fox X Krystal fan, but this little thing here is so true.

I love this pic.

We ought to thank those spirits for making Fox go through all these challenges. This is one of your best pictures, great job on all the different frames. Heave, Fox.,,HEAVE!

It's too bad there isen't a sequel in which Fox needs a bit of teamwork to shift some large objects. I think you two would be a great team.

David31 In reply to David31 [2008-11-18 21:34:23 +0000 UTC]

Sorry. But still in this new game there could be more challenges that perhaps would require two foxes to pull it off, or push or lift it.

I know, it just annoys me when I type fast and mispell things. Indeed it would be, though playing such games with a Wii remote might be tricky.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RikMcCloud In reply to David31 [2008-11-19 13:43:27 +0000 UTC]

I do it sometimes and it can be frustrating. Also, if it was released on the Wii, I wouldn't bother with the stupid remote and would revert to the GC controller.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

David31 In reply to RikMcCloud [2008-11-19 13:55:30 +0000 UTC]

Cool, or you could use that Wii controller if it was compatible. I remember they did release a proper no nonsense controller for the console when it came out. However the console had that remote instead as part of the pakage. Note I wouldn't want to take Musclefoot on with a Wii remote, it sounds bad enough the GC controller.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

RikMcCloud In reply to David31 [2008-11-19 14:52:47 +0000 UTC]

The "Classic" controller plugs into the Wiimote anyway. And the test of strength isn't that bad. I find it fun to just toy with MuscleFoot, tapping the A button lightly so the two equal our their strength before hammering down at the last minute giving Fox that surge of strength to dump him!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

David31 In reply to RikMcCloud [2008-11-19 14:54:42 +0000 UTC]

Oh and dump he will. :giggles: But I can see what you mean, it's fun to tease that big musclebound dino into thinking he's in for an easy contest, but what he dosen't know is that this fox has muscle! ^_^

There's nothing wrong with loving Star Fox Adventures.

And this pic is pretty good. Nice work on the poses and backgrounds, in particular. I like all the little details, like the scarabs popping out from under the rock, the sleeping Sharpclaw in the Cloudrunner Fortress dungeon, etc.

Content-wise, this is a very interesting observation you've made. Even though it wasn't an obvious theme of the game, I like the idea that it all built up to Fox having the strength to save Krystal. Considering the two grew to become friends, then lovers, then husband and wife, and then had a child together, it truly was the most important catch of Fox's life.
