Hey everyone! I pretty much abandoned deviantart entirely before I could even THINK of returning here to post art- but here I am to say this;

We make the world a more colorful and enjoyable place and yet the people who created the world's largest feat of theft are the people you want around. You want us, artists, to coexist with people who simply want to do things the cheap and dirty way. Thats a parasitic relationship- not a symbiotic one. We will not, cannot, coexist and work with people and "AI" who can only make images based on OUR hard work. We will never be paid or compensated for it. We'll be cast aside as some fancy theft-machine pumps out ambiguous garbage for you to consume.

Please support artists, real ones. Not the ones who claim they created an image that was mashed together by a machine that "learned" on stolen art.

We're humans, like you. We deserve to exist and live without this nonsense. And hey; the only one "gatekeeping" art is yourself and any fool who tells you that you can't learn. Art is a skill that is learned, and with enough time you can be the one to make ANYTHING that you imagine. Why let a shabby machine "kinda" do it for you- especially when it uses the art of others to make it in the first place. That image was never yours to begin with, and writing a prompt doesn't make it yours

Be vocal about getting laws set around these horrible programs; advocate for humans more than AI that'll never make it's own art or make real art for you.
