thank you very much. I love taking pictures of insects and creepy crawlies. Wasps and spiders are some of my favorites to photograph because few people want to get that close to them

You're very welcome, Wow, you're very brave for getting up close to insects & creepy crawlies & you end up taking really good pictures of them too

Oh yes, not a lot of people would get close to insects or go near them.

I have always like them so it isnt ever a big deal for me to get close to them. I always find them incredibly interesting. Now that spring is coming I will be taking a lot more pictures. I was in Kentucky last spring and summer but now i am in Indiana and I am curious what I will find.

Yay, I can't wait to see more of your pictures, that sounds very exciting, how is Indiana? & What is like over there? It must be very exciting to be able to travel to explore & taking pictures^^

Indiana is pretty good. The weather is still very stange. Its 30 degrees in the morning and 60 in the evening. It hops all over the place. The insects are plants are starting to grow but winter is still lingering.

Wow, that's very interesting indeed, I thought it would also be warm in the evening, but then again it's warm all the time (especially in the summer) are the insects big over there?

rikumario In reply to ashleybroses [2013-04-01 15:11:28 +0000 UTC]

ya they are much bigger than where i am from (utah). They are not insane big but they can get pretty big. The big ones are still uncommon compared to the smaller insects

You must have had a lot of courage to take such a close shot of this spider. I wouldn't be courageous enough to get this close to it. Great shot by the way

cute but not cuddly

SpaniardWithKnives In reply to rikumario [2012-12-03 17:34:32 +0000 UTC]

Lol. Not at all. I like to look at them but I am not interested in cuddling those little fellas, lol. My friend has a scorpion and the same thing. lol

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

rikumario In reply to SpaniardWithKnives [2012-12-03 17:38:54 +0000 UTC]

ya they are much better for looking at than for cuddling. Something about a bad disposition and a poisonous bite makes them much better creatures to look at than touch

it was actually a really venomous one (hobo spider) and it was in the shower. What a stereotypical spider. I would suffered a lot but it was only a small male or baby spider. he made my pinky toe go numb though
