While I admit, I'm rather annoyed at how he's killed Yamamoto (my favorite character) he is probably my favorite villain. He's far more successful than Aizen ever was. According to my information, he fought against Yamamoto 1,000 years before the series began - and the duel resulted in a stalemate. Exact circumstances are unclear, but what we know is - this guy is Yamamoto's arch-enemy, and the only one he considers truly worthy of facing off against his incredibly destructive Bankai, Zanka No Tachi.
I'm currently wondering where Kubo will take him. Right now we're learning more about Isshin, but where this ties into the Vandenreich and what is happening right now - I do not know.
Moreover, I believe that Juhabach (I like his name spelled like that instead of the newer version) isn't the true Big Bad - though he claims to be the Emperor of the Vandenreich, he is not exactly the enemy's leader, by his own admission.

Kubo had him kill the Soul King, reveal his powers were both omnipotence and changing the future, made him an ink blob with loads of eyes...and then had him killed with the Shikai version of Zangetsu. Yeah, was not really happy about it when I read it.
