Hell yeah!!! This is a fight for human rights, not just for marriage. People are being caged, stopped from doing what they want. I just wish the people who supposedly 'follow the Church' or vote for prop 8 and its counterparts could see that marriage shouldn't just be limited to one man, one woman.

To me it's not fair for a man legally marry a woman and two years or so later divorce them cause they aren't in love any more. They have more of a right to be married than two gay or lesbian couple who love each other, and I think that they vows they take for each other does mean more to them than something said and forgotten.
To me they deserve it more than a man and a woman. I also don't see why other people care whether two same sex people get married, it's not like they are marrying them! It's retarded!!
They use facts from the Bible, well if they say that a marriage is for a man and a woman! Then why does it say in the bible that it's okay for a man to have more than one wife? or that it's okay for a man to beat his wife with a stick, or to own people! Is that right in this day and age?
Just a bunch of hypocritical church goers who don't look all that closely at the Bible.
This is the LAND OF THE FREE, but with all these rules squashing down the rights of other human beings, it's only a free country if you are straight and that's not exactly fair. If there is one thing I hate, it's talking to such naroowminded people.

Yeah they seem to forget that the Bible was written 2000 years ago... the human race evolves, y'know? Plus the fact that the Bible was actually written BY humans not the deity they supposedly follow.
It's just a shame that the vast majority of uber-Christians who are supposed to 'love thy neighbour' are homophobic. Hypocrites, much?
Plus there are those that complain that homosexuals are 'freaks of nature', 'not what God intended' (heard it myself, disgusting), if that was so, then can other species, not just humans, be homosexual? Is THAT not what God intended?

Yes, my sister actually found out that some animals have leaned toward animals of the same sex, like penguins, and dogs, and there was another animal, but I can't think of it right now.
But they can't look at that and tell me that it's not right. I mean really, it's not easy for people to come out of the closet because of all the hypocritical bigots that seem to think that it's a disease and that it can be cured. That's what makes me sick.
As a christian I find incredibly hard to believe that the all loving god I grew up to know would turn away a devote christian just because he was gay and slept with a man, the safe goes for a woman. I find that really hard to believe. I would like someone to find in the bible where it says that sleeping with someone of the same sex is a sin. because I haven't found one yet.
It's also hard for me to believe, because a long time ago they took pieces out of the bible, and chose what they wanted to be put on there, to say what they wanted it to say. My sister says that there is a library that has the rest of the chapters of the bible there. "It was going to be too long" was their excuse. So I don't always use the bible to back me up, I just use the fact that is an all loving, understanding and merciful God, then he wouldn't turn away one of his children just because of who they slept with, I still find that really hard to believe.

I support them too Riley. But unfortunately Americans are probably for the most part closed minded snobby uppity egotistical self righteous Churchy People on this Earth! Most likely they'll never change. I just hope one day that Sabrina And Raven like me can escape this horrible place and go somewhere where they can live in peace and be who they want without the fear of reprisal. I seriously wish them all the best! They truly are a really Beautiful couple. And I mean that in all ways!

They really are an awesome couple, if you take them as they are unlike Churchy (LOVE that word) people.
Lol I'd like to say they should emigrate but come to think of it wouldn't that mean they were running away from the fight? I don't think they're the type to do that, even if it does appear to be a losing battle with the Churchies.
So much for America being the 'land of the free', heh.

What fight when you're fighting a losing battle. And America hasn't been the land of the free in years it's liberty and justice for the wealthy only! The Cop Cars that say to protect and to serve should actually say to harass and intimidate. It's only the land of the free for wealthy heterosexual Caucasions. Not for everyone. That's why I can't wait for April 1st to be here already!

I totally agree with you Riley. But that only works when you're dealing with rational people. These People here aren't even rational. I just want Sabrina and Raven to be happy and be able to live in peace.I doubt that will ever happen here in this Country. I'd be happy if it was, but I'm already half way through my life and it's never changed here yet!

Maybe not. Doesn't mean that it won't change... that's the belief I think. If there was no hope every homosexual living in California fighting for their rights would probably have emigrated by now. And I agree, I want them to be happy too, but I want them to be happy where they want and not feel forced out of the country.

A lot of them if they could afford it would believe me. Thing is the way the economy is here for the average person keeps people trapped here. The cost of Airfare here alone is enough to kill anyone here. That and the cost of a passport is another thing. So most People can't afford to get out even if they wanted to.
