Contest entry for i was able to finish this one unexpectedly quickly, that's good i guess XD (although there are still some parts i'm not so sure about)the character descriptions didn't specify whether this character had any particular powers, but her color scheme and hair reminded me of water, so i did a background that could be water, or just an entirely random decoration. Interpret it as you wish xD
now i have to write the thesis, so no contests for a while. Might post some old drawings from time to time

Well you aren't completely wrong, her dye in her hair definitely based on the ocean/sea gradient colours (from surface to deep).
She loves nature so it totally makes sense. Merye used to have the water power, but then I gave her healing powers instead.
