To those who asked for this tut, here it is. This is how I shade skin.
I really do suck at explaining(and shading in general... ), but I tried my best... (Ｔ△Ｔ)
so please forgive me for any confusing bits (if there is any..).
and i'm not confident about this tut cos... i'm rubbish at colouring skin... ;w;
To be honest, (I said this before) this is just the way I do it,
so you may like it or hate it. I just hope you find this helpful...
(EDIT: looking back, i can see so many mistakes in shading... >< I'm sorry it's not very good ;A; !!!)

This is great! I do have a question, though. You have your lineart in the first couple of steps, then it changes colour, then it vanishes. What happened?

Even though this is Paint Tool Sai, can you basically do the same thing in Adobe Photoshop? I'd love to do this type of shading effect!

I just have one question in the skin colors from 1-4 it doesn't say if you're just using the top 4 or another just 1 or 3 or 4 and it makes me confuse so is it just each row is for each type of skin or just pick what ever floats your boat skin?

Is it possible that his head is a bit too small? ^^ I'm not sure... buts it's a very helpful tutorial. I think I have a very different way of painting skin, above all the technique with the layers is something new for me. I don't use layer options very often. I'm always astonished how many possibilities there are ^^
