Its so good to hear when people can have a break up and still be in eachothers lives. I know when my girlfriend broke up with me the part that hurt the most was that I was looing my closest friend. We havent spoken since. :/

i totally understand, my love and i had to end it because of too many complications-not with each other but with the outside world. It was too difficult and painful for us to keep it going, and after a while we decided it was better to end it. But even though it is over, we still love eachother and are the best of friends and closer than ever.

Im really glad that you two stayed friends. My lova and I almost broke up once, cuz she had to choose between me and a guy...actually, we did ^^'...but then not even an hour later she biked to my house and we got back together...where am I going with this? @_@...um, what Im saying is that for the short period of time we werent together and before we were lovers, we were great friends. i even got her a necklace to show wed stay friends, like how you guys did.
And I have anotha friend dealing with her and her lovas timezone @_@...intercontinental and same gender love...you are a trooper, for as long as it went. Congrats to you both!

I'm so glad for you that you're still friends. It's always so awkward for me to even talk to my exes (probably because I was always the one initiating the breakup). I've never really stayed friends with them, probably because I've never really felt anything for them, except for one, but that's another story.

What do you use for the shading on Meg's shirt? Is it just a brush..?
And for your line art, do you do that on the computer, or scan that in just as clean, markered outlines? I'm trying to get better at outlining and I'm wondering how you do your lines, before coloring. Thanks!

Sorry for taking so long to reply back.
Okay, let's see... Most of my work were coloured using a program called openCanvas. And yes, the shading were done using a brush. But the effect will be better if you're using a tablet instead of a mouse but tablets are so expensive... so you have to make sure you take care of your tablet so it will last longer.
And the lining were done in pencils (2B, preferebly) actually.

So you two boke up... but it's good that you are still friends. Yes, relationship over a distance is diffucult, I can say that from my own sad experience.
But I do wonder, Rina, maybe instead of changing the relationship, it might have been better to change the location... But well, what do I know. *shrugs*
