Detail - [link]This was actually pretty fun to do. It feels good trying a technique I've been running from for so long. Haha...interesting, wouldn't you say? Since it's new to me, it was difficult, but after getting it done, my main conclusion is that it was fun.
Again, more fanart. Here's my real submission to the DBZ guild I'm a part of on Gaia.
Goku. And Vegeta. AGAIN. They're hanging out in a hot place. Come up with a story for it yourself, it might be fun.I don't really know what else to say. This is weird...mostly I'm happy with how it looks after making it up as I went along with my coloring. It's also weird because I drew them in my style.

I love it. The shading, the positioning, the sweat, the way goku seems to be leaning over staring directly at vegetas ass while vegeta looks pissed at losing.
Story: Goku and vegeta got into an argument over finding a dragonball that was in the desert. Fighting ensues, neither win because of the intense heat. Goku sits on the ground to avoid passing out from dehydration and vegeta stands in front of him on shaky legs, claiming victory.
Vegeta: "It appears Im the victor kakarott."
As he finishes his little gloating rant another heat wave blows by and vegeta collapses from heat exhaustion, landing in goku's lap.
Goku: "Hm, vegeta."
Vegeta: "Just shut up."
Again, I love the subtle gestures, it leaves more to the imagination.

I like the story you came up with! I can see that, and Vegeta insulting him with his usual 'weakling' type of response. And then of course after all that...the shut up just works. XD!

lol, I imagine them just passing out from utter exhaustion after overexerting themselves training. Vegeta's just trying not to think about how he's fallen, or that Goku still has enough energy to sit up and maybe do other things... bwahaha.
I love your cell shading in this, it's godly.

Thanks. I had started shading it like this ( [link] ) at first, but decided that the style didn't match my lines. I'm so glad that the cel-shading turned out decent enough! XD I liked how it came out before, but it just didn't look right together.

I think Vegeta looks great in your style. I'm in love with the positions. Vegeta's just like...PLOP in Goku's lap. XD They really do look exhausted.
