Tried something different, sort of. I started out with two layers. One was the sketch, the other was a layer to paint over it. I got tired of that, so I just merged it and painted on one layer. The new thing I tried was pretty much just...not blending everything and using more colors for the skin.Anyway. Orpheus, with a long neck. Sketched it the same night I finished the Rory piece I submitted a few days ago. Kinda supposed to be in a similar style, at least in how I drew their faces.

Yes, it is! I was thinking of doing more boring headshots of other characters in this painted style. Or even trying a full piece..XD

He was left on their doorstep by his mother simply because they looked like decent enough people by their nice house. I don't think I explained that bit anywhere. I do have some info on his ref sheet, but it's already needing an update. [link]

With no fear! XD It's really easy to correct mistakes with digital art, so as long as I had the initial idea down, it was pretty easy to just paint it on one layer. Thanks <3

Man you're lucky. xD I tried doing one layer the other day and struggled so much with it. Then again, you use a different program than I do so maybe that helps it along....

I dunno, maybe it just takes time and practice, because I used to be awful at doing things on one layer.
