This is an excellent piece! It's obvious you were going towards an "exaggerated realism" effect. You were smart to have a sample of traditional art in your portfolio because it's difficult to judge an artist's true skill on digital art alone (in my opinion at least). It takes a lot of skill to create an exaggerated realism piece in traditional art - and you succeeded perfectly.
May I ask what media you used?
