No, I bet they were. How many layers did you use? Was it just one for the stripes, or did you do it like Ringmaster's hair in that first one you coloured?

Just one layer for the stripes.
Duplicated skin layer, locked transparency, painted it white, then painted stripes. Set layer to Overlay or Darken and that was it. I was just going to sell-out at first and put pointy tiger-like stripes, but I started having fun.
