They're from a kind of interactive webcomic called Homestuck! The trolls aren't really the main characters, and doesn't appear until the fourth act, so I don't really understand why everyone fuss about it. I love Homestuck, it's really great. But I don't love the fans, though(Including me). But still it feels like your thing to read(?) so I'll give you a link! It's about a superderpy boy named John, he and his friends are playing a game called Sburb which leads to their duty to save the world. Kind of. My english is as sucky as always. Here you go!;
