I've always wanted to draw this scene. Half the theatre cracked up at Sweeney's face... (and doesn't he look way too adorable in that Victorian bathing suit?)Mrs Lovett: OMG YAYZ by the sea, Mr T! *SQUEAL*
Sweeney: STFU
I know something's missing... I decided not to draw Mrs Lovett's glasses because no matter what I tried, it never looked right. I'm happy with this drawing, though, and if you ask me, she looks cuter without the glasses.

It's not that hard if you use the smudge tool: just make sure you always use a new layer for each shadow or highlight layer you want.
First I paint the area where I want my shadow or highlight to be (using the paint brush), and then I select the smudge tool (75% pressure/intensity), using a fuzzy brush. To get the colours just right I always create a palette layer -- the best way to get shadow and highlight colours that match your base colours it to use the dodge and burn tool.
