I haven't read the comments and notes I've received because it was a complicated week, so this is gonna be a quick description because I need to rest. I'll add more info tomorrow. Just practicing with clouds, saturated light, desaturated shadows, etc. The drawing is based on a comment I've received and read a couple of months ago.

EDIT: Ok, so this is based on a comment from the user many months ago that says Celestia and Pinkie wouldn't approve Tempest being with Twilight. Fanart doesn't have to make any sense (especially mine), but my first reaction was "Oh my god, I've never thought of that!". xD

The original sketch had Celestia and Pinkie in the situation instead of just their heads. But I've erased them because I wasn't convinced of the look. After a long couple of hours using the pencil and another couple of hours refining it with Photoshop, I decided to let only their heads with their expressions. However, it was a good chance to make the background and refining the desaturated blue-purple and the saturated orange-yellow. So the final process was way more enjoyable than trying to make what I've deleted somewhat workable.
