A summer or two ago when I was in China, this movie was just released in theaters there and was instantly big. So yea, I think Ziyi had gotten a lot more film time since, but either way, I've been waiting a long time for it to get to the states so I could see it with subtitles.
Anyway, what I meant to say was: Great piece, here. Yep

Yea from reading up on the film (post manip'ing this) I realized how old it indeed was
I bet those behind the film are just waiting to build up suspense in the fans- IT'S WORKING!!!

Actually...maybe I should have said Shoto over Daito...the Tsuka is way too short for a Daito.

fantastic work man.
The only accuracy flaw within the piece is that Zhang as "Snow" is wielding a Daito....over a shortened Chinese saber like she did in the film.
Aside from that, this is breathtaking....the color richness is amazing.

Sorry man, as a student of Bujinkan Ninpo Taijutsu....I'm always fixing name misconceptions that arise from Ninjutsu. It's a habit, so don't take offense....wasn't intended to be personal.
Either way, Tsuka for a Shinobigatana peering over her shoulder or not...the piece is very beautiful. The richness of color really brought out the textures to it. I'm still a virgin to Adobe/Jask myself....and I sure as hell know I couldn't have done it....for that, and other reasons....it deserved instant respect!
It was added as a fave, immediately after seeing it...

What! You study?! For how long? That's excellent man. I'm aware of a few Bujinkan schools in Chicago around me, but my schedule doesn't allow me to enroll yet. Right now I am involved with Kwan Bup Tang Su Do which sustains my hunger for now. Don't worry about correcting me, I always like to know what's really going on if I make a mistake, ya know? Let's see...I've been MA's in general for 14 years...but exclusively Bujinkan Taijutsu for 4 years or so now....I'm still a lowly 3rd Kyu. haha!
Tang Soo Do I know about...it just looks like linear TKD to me...no offense intended of course.

PS ... this is not her latest film, she has done 2-3 since. This film was released in cinemas (Asia) in 2002, I've had the dvd for over 1 year now.
