One thing though...
The Coachman, unlike the other human characters in "Pinocchio", has only four fingers on his hands, not five.

I believe he isn't human at all. He is the polar opposite of the Blue Fairy. He's a fae just like her but instead of rewarding good children he punishes bad ones. I mean look at his NON-HUMAN minions. Yeah, the guy is definitely not human himself, but like Jareth from Labyrinth he LOOKS human.
