Why does he look so much more royal than the fucking demon lord Mortis what the fuck.

I may have to redesign Mortis to match this level of royal looks sigh.

In hindsight, it makes perfect sense for the Demon "King" of Greed to look more royal than Mortis huh, but I digress.

Anyways, I'll stop my bullshit and start another bullshit whee. This was finished on May 26th, but I actually started this piece on uhhhh.... May 8th (with proof ). YEAH I ADMIT I TOOK TOO LONG TO FINISH IT, but admittedly this was my first time trying to work on a full-body piece with FULL DETAIL, and also I had to attend my graduation and take another exam in the middle of trying to finish this piece okay pls be understanding;;;; I'm boo boo the fool I'm sorry

Also this piece has consumed more than 30 layers just a fun suffering fact.

This here demon boi is The Demon of Greed, Avaritia/Mammon! I also nicknamed him Varry but please call him whatever you'd prefer out of all these mess of names lol. He's a sheep demon just like Caedes by the way (you may have noticed from his horizontal pupils), though Varry is a black sheep because of reasons--mainly aesthetic ones huhu don't mind me. Also speaking of aesthetics, his theme color is gold (and he has his own symbol which is a gold moon! but I digress) considering that Envy is already green in my OCniverse uwu.

By the way, his design was inspired by a number of things. Namely something I made in Picrew due to boredom, one of ONEUS' stage outfits for Valkyrie, some of Deep-Sea Prisoner's designs and also some of Granblue Fantasy's designs as well huhu (yea I started playing gbf lol I bet ya didn't expect that). Also as I was designing him I increasingly have the feeling that he has similar energy to....Belial... if he's just more dignified and has less tiddy lol.

Fun fact I started wanting to design Varry because I wanna make a horned and horny demon boyo so uhhh, yeah. Make of that what you will.

Personality-wise, he's (aside from horny) a smug mofocker basically--a smug mofocker with dignified looks and speech. He's one of the few high-ranked demons to proclaim themselves king (another that I've made already is the "King of Hatred" Odium , Also Pride would probably proclaim themselves king as well huh). He's the type to have Noble Laugh(tm), though he's more "ufufu" type than "ohoho" type...what am I saying.

He's one of the more rational and relatively calm demons tbh, even though his power is to literally take others' power/energy (or "prized possessions") for his own use--basically extorts and extracts those energy to fuel his own. He knows when to stop taking because his logic overrides his natural desire for greed most of the time, but is extremely terrifying when he loses control and lets his power run amok.

Oh also did I mention he's horny? Basically, taking energy from others amps up his euphoria to very high levels and causes him to feel extreme pleasure, and will basically make him power-high and not in the way that you may be used to lol.

Also at first I was confused as to whether I should make him the demon of Greed or Lust, but after a Twt poll I ran I started to think that Lust is way too obvious for how horny I wanna make him lol. And besides, his smug-dignified-royal look fits Greed more anyways huhu.
