Positive-
Protective- Lightflower is a mother bear when it comes to her loved ones, especially her family. She will not hesitate to raise her voice (or her claws) if someone is threatened. In addition, she’s very protective of her values as well as her kin and clan. If some cat crosses what she most holds dear, she’ll let them know. Preservation of clan and way of life is the goal, and she’ll die to achieve that.
Compassionate and nurturing- Despite her passions and occasional confrontations, Lightflower is warm as they come. Naturally mothering, she has always been one to fuss and fret over others’ wellbeing. If anyone is down and out, she’ll take the time to sympathize with them and get them back on their feet. She generally has a sweet, nurturing, warm demeanor.
Self-sacrificing- In partnership with her previous two traits, Lightflower is also quite altruistic to those in her clan. She’ll always offer that another cat be helped before her, or take the blame from something, or charge into a battle even if she knows she’ll lose. Putting herself after what she stands for is something she doesn’t think twice about and is happy to do, even though it costs her sometimes.
Neutral-
Loyal- While loyalty is a must in any clan, Lightflower can at times take it to the extreme. Her fierce dedication to Shadowclan is admirable, but can be blinding to herself. While she won’t be one to stray from the code or break rules, this loyalty also leaves her vulnerable to believing that Shadowclan and the warrior code are perfect even when they’re far from it. Given her loyalty and passionate nature, she may hurl herself into a battle that has a wrong cause.
Traditional- Tradition is the mission. Manners, proper attitude and conduct, and preserving the ways of Shadowclan are essential. This is helpful in that Lightflower goes the extra pawstep to preserve the identity of the clan, but also bites back in that she is avoidant of change.
Negative-
Close-minded- Lightflower doesn’t take well to outsiders. Any outsider is immediately seen as a possible threat to Shadowclan and her loved ones, and let’s face it, they just don’t fit in in her mind. Additionally, she is often so stuck in her own ways that if another cat has conflicting values, she’ll often neglect to hear them out.
Biased- This goes along with her fierce loyalty. Blind loyalty can be destructive, and Lightflower is predisposed to think that Shadowclan is the best clan. This leaves her reluctant to accept help from outsiders, and even hostile or condescending toward them.
Pessimistic- Unfortunately, due to her guarded tendencies, Lightflower can be quite the pessimist. She will often assume the worst in unfamiliar situations, and will complain if she doesn’t see even the littlest thing as fit.

Lightkit was born in a small litter. Her mother always groomed her with the etiquette of the clan and how to behave according to the warrior code. She spent her kit days playing with her siblings, admiring the older cats, and pretending she was the ruler of the nursery basically.
As an apprentice, Lightpaw was eager to learn and prove Shadowclan proud. She followed orders to a fault and made a point of never acting out. Some called her a goody two paws, but she just saw herself as doing what she had to. She did make many friends, however, and took part in the drama and adventure that is apprenticeship. However, the death of her siblings was hard on her at first. She hadn’t been with them when they died, and never got to make amends. At times, she blamed herself for not taking care of them properly, and maybe if she had they wouldn’t have gotten in that accident… so she thinks. But Lightpaw knew that the ancestors just had different plans, and tried to accept their death. Part of her still can’t come to terms.
Lightpaw became Lightflower, “flower” for her warm and patient nature that started to emerge in her late apprenticeship. She wore the name proudly. She continues to serve her clan to the best of her ability, and is passionate about the whole of the clan. A weak hunter, what she lacks in putting bread on the table, she makes up for with her dedication and spirit. She’s hardly one to back down from a battle, and she makes sure the cats around her are well taken care of. However, she remains stuck in her expectations of proper manners and preserving tradition, which rubs others the wrong way at times.
