I think this is a wonderful portrait. I especially enjoy how her expression and body language seem to express a casual familiarity with power. She seems uplifted instead of worn down by the responsibility of her station. Her armor/outfit is practical, but also stylish and dignified.
However, I hope I don't hurt your feelings if I say that my eyes can't make sense of what's going on with her right hand(?). There seem to be red flowers, but what are they coming out of? Is that her hand, or some kind of container for the red flowers?

Thank you for comment!
Haha yeah it's weird whats happening there but it was from Sargent's painting and the lady rests her outside part of hands on her hips (i tried doing it,it didn't work). It was so weird to recreate it.

Oh, I see now! Had to try it myself, and yeah, my hands definitely don't work that way either, so I get why that was weird for you. Thanks for the information, it makes sense to my eyes now. Comparing them side to side, I prefer your piece to the original, with or without the "mystery hand".
