I agree with ~egriz - no idea what this is or means but his hair is fabulous.
...Possibly one of the most disturbing things I have ever seen, but also one of the most entrancing.

Well, I was really inspired by some artists on dA, they made guro so beautiful and fascinating- i wanted to see if I could try bit of that. I've also always been... inspired by the the idea of eating one's self, and being consumed in general, so that's where the rat/eyeball eating came in. Ended up working in some of my personal feelings against religious dedication, thus the putti, baroque florets, and crosses.
I'm happy it was something you could still appreciate despite the subject matter<3

You totally managed to make guro beautiful; the boy looks so innocent and pure. The whole idea of eating yourself really is interesting. It made me think of those cultures (some sort of natives from somewhere, I forgot) that eat their dead relatives in respect, to make take in their spirit and that sort of thing. XD
But yeah, this is really cool~
