Well maybe if you are lucky the rust protection of the old opel is not the best for sure
just one of the problems is that they used mulitple layers of steelplates for the bottom, but i'm not 100% sure if the GT has this problem too

Duct taping a car?

I don't know as well
If something would be broken on my ol' seat ibiza i'd just repair it for real, not just duct tape it.

Nissan GT-R?
It got lots of power, how many litres does it need per 100 km or miles?
I guess it's more like if you would drive it conservatively, i bet it's just too much fun driving fast with it

rioross In reply to Foxdemon-chan [2010-08-18 02:57:39 +0000 UTC]
on a perfect day, i can get 21 Miles per gallon, but it settles down at around 18 or 19.
idk how much that is in litres, but 20 is a good mileage

Well I didn't know if there's a difference between hp and bhp so i used kilowatts.
But usually i use hp too

HP, BHP, and WHP or even RWHP in some cases are all pretty much the same.

K thanks.
Well I'm actually looking for a funny car i can buy in a few years
at the moment i've found two that are interesting audi 80 with the 2.3 litres injection machine and the peugot 306 16S (i like small cars with power, in this case 163ps, that don't look different from the usual versions)
do you know some (affordable) older cars with power that don't look like it?

Ford Crown Victoria, Pontiac Bonneville SSEI, Buick Grand National, A 1997 Buick Riviera, any General Motors car with a Supercharged 3.8 in them

let me tell you, you can never go wrong with a GM vehicle.
ive had three so far and the only thing that ever broke was the car when i ran into a wall.
other than that nothing, and when something does go wrong, they are cheap to fix.

The only "GM" cars i was driving with were opel/vauxhal and their main problem is rust which is pretty annoying.
and thank you for your advice i'll take a look at some "real" gm cars then. Because i like cars that are relatively fast, unconspicuous and have got a capability of resistance like you described it.

That's a nice one, but apparently hard to get in germany..
Oh my gosh... i just found the oldsmobile of my dreams..
oldsmobile 442 w-30
too sad that it's even more expensive than a new middle-class car

yes, it's imported from switzerland and got restored just a few years ago so it's pretty much like a new one!
Plus, it's the w-30 with 7.5litres of cylinder capacity and 450ps.
It's awesome in every way.
