Ryan is definitely the best! He set the bar for modern Sonic's voice and everyone else just tries to emulate him and with good reason! He was an amazing Sonic and to me he will always be Sonic's official voice (:

Agreed. He was an awesome voice for Sonic, cause he made sure Sonic sounded like a cool, but cocky 15-16 year old teenager.

The voice actors for Sonic have really altered and inspired the fandom. You've shown Ryan Drummond's vibrant energy and spirit in this picture well with Sonic's carefree smile, posture and the hand over the heart implies it comes from the heart.
The way the microphone is in detail and the background is blurred makes me feel that he gets lost in his own world when voice acting, I like that.
My first voice actor for Sonic was less well known, Jaleel White, he was more of the "classic" younger Sonic from the first cartoons, like Satam and Aosth. Then BOOM a new era of voice actors, Ryan Drummond for games and Jason Griffith for Sonic X. Ryan Drummond is really in the heart of the fandom now and I'm so glad he is

Haha, thanks so much! The microphone is actually what I use when I'm recording vocals in the studio. It's my favorite vocal microphone~
I remember Jaleel White's work all too well. His voice was the first I heard in animation, but Ryan's was the first in-game for me. I've been in this fandom for close to 15 years now, and I still think Ryan's work was the voice with the greatest impact.
