The day we went to release the Mississippi Kites, the Raptor Rehabilitation Center had Luke out for people to see. Luke is a American Kestrel, he is at the center because he is a imprint which makes him fun to be around but unlikely to survive on his own.Buy a print or a download and all the money goes to the Raptor Center for the care of the brids.

Luke is one of my favorites, he always wants to get close to you. Which makes him fun to be around, but a real bugger to photograph... LoL.

I don't want to offend, but I've used that lens and the focusing at 300mm set at inifinity is terrible! Good thing I had only borrowed it... that night (I was shooting the moon), I promised myself that I would by a real tele (and I did
