Another art based on one of the most famous legends in Brazil, that of the Labatut Monster! a creature that legend has it as its habitat in the northeastern hinterland, more specifically in Chapada do Apodi.

They say that the creature is the reincarnation of a cruel French General who served in the region in the 19th century, Pierre Labatut, who was known for being merciless and cruel.

The creature is represented as having a tall stature, pointy black hair, long arms with sharp claws, feet and teeth like an elephant, cyclops, with only one eye (other reports say that it has two eyes, but the best-known version is with only one) and with an insatiable hunger for human flesh.

Just like the Werewolf, Labatut has a habit of appearing on full moon nights.
