I've got some news for y'all. Now, before we get into it, it's not me who has breast cancer. It's my mom. Last Monday, she had an MRI scan done, and it turns out that she has D.C.I.S. breast cancer, stage 0. It's a non-invasive breast cancer, but luckily it can't spread. It must be treated, and if left alone, the cancer cells can spread, and turn into an invasive cancer. She's having another MRI scan done tomorrow, and surgery sometime next week. It's hard for all of us in the family, and even though there have been many cases of breast cancer in the family on mom's side, and dad's side, it's still surprising to hear news like that. It is unknown if I am gonna get it or not. I will probably find out when I'm older (10 years probably). I dunno what's gonna happen..
