I made 'em. Took apart a pair of flip flops and rebuilt them using bias tape and hot glue.

I love how this came out. Very authentic and on par with the characters from OP! Oh and where may I ask was this picture taken? Eastern states I assume but it'd be pretty grand if it was taken at Fremantle Prison, Western Australia.

Sanji is really like I think he'd look if he weren't just a drawn figure.
And Luffy just has the LUFFY GRIN, and I love the sandals.

haha! that is pretty cool. i only just started reading one piece myself, but i saw the anime when i was really little. odd show, but funny and you really got the costumes down

It's actually very good though. It's slow to start and seems childish but there's some very intriguing story's in there, including eugenics (-the Marines speak of killing Portgas D. Ace just because he's the son of Gol D. Roger), there's slave traders, there's hideous racism and conflict between races (which may be what the story's about, there are lots of theory's but one of my favourite is the "making the world back into One Piece"for peace- its currently separated by the Red Line...) Β There's ancient artefacts called Poneglyphs which may explain the mystery behind the void century, or the century that shaped the One Piece world as it is, which no one but the Ponegylphs hidden around the world can reveal-for some reason the Marines guard them heavily.
Also the mystery of the Devil Fruit's, Noahs ship, and the Adam and Eve trees. This is why the One Piece offical wikipedia is so helpful, but this is the best selling anime/manga of all time for good reason. I hated it at first too, and really, I got into around 430ish when the slave traders were introduced as it was interesting to see such a gritty side to the story too, and the War following was incredible.

I've watched several episodes. I honestly dislike everything about it save for the main character--especially the art style. Not everything's for everyone, I guess. :/
It's alright. ^_^ It's natural to have a lot to say about something you really like. I'm normally more drawn to things that remind me of pieces and/or parts my book series in some aspect; Rosario Vampire, Underworld (which barely makes the cut), Star Wars (what a genre jumps, right?), Law and Order: SVU, Vampire Hunter D, NightWalker: Midnight Detective... Surprisingly enough, I liked Naruto before Kishi ruined it, though.

Well...the beginning is when he started doing things just because fans wanted to see it. He himself curses himself for 'ruining Sasuke's character' because people thought he'd make an interesting surprise villain. That was the beginning of the end for me.
Hinata saying the exact same thing to Naruto, word for word, that Neji told her right before he died--yet, fans read into it way too much, and mistranslations don't help.

Awesome. I checked out the whole photoshoot on Oujisama's Flickr, and this one was my favorite shot. :3 I was just waiting to see if it would get posted. I think you all matched your characters perfectly (except for the lack of a cigarette with Sanji, lol). Great job.
