Another in class doodle... Crazy anatomy, but I kinda like it. This was originally on lined paper... Channels=love.-About 20 minutes

hey great job! really like it. i have a question though and seeing your a fantastic artist maybe you can answer it:
i heard a rumor that if you draw the eyes first it gives you a better outline of the face is that true? or do you just draw the way us normal suckers do lol

The trick I use only works if you were drawing on paper with coloured lines (not black), and scan in colour. Open the channels panel in Photoshop. If your lines are blue, disable all the channels except blue, and usually most of the lines will dissappear. Save the image as a jpeg, instead of using copy and paste as this won't get rid of the other channels.
The end picture will be in black and white, though, so it doesn't work for colour pictures.
