Yeah, too me they aren't so fun when you need to restart over and over to get it right

@ u @ I know that feeling. References help a lot though for me.

I can't have google up when i'm on SAI so I won't be able to get references. I just wish my style of Papyrus was different.

I don't know if this would work for you, but you could look up your references beforehand and right click them to copy the image, then when you're in SAI you could paste them, which would automatically put the image you're pasting (you're reference) on a new layer, which you can hide/show and transform to any size and position so you can look at it as needed. That way it's right there on your canvas. c: That's what I do with my references sometimes. Sometimes (especially if it has a white background) I'll also set the reference layer to Multiply so that I can see my art strokes underneath the reference and I can keep it visible more often.

That isn't a bad idea, I could try that but, what about my comic? it has Papyrus in it and it would be weird if the style of him just changed.

I'm sure your readers won't mind you trying new things. C: But what I would probably do in this case is practice on the side (outside the comic) see if you like the style that you come up with and decide for yourself if you'd like to make the change.

I guess so. I have already did 2 other styles, the one i'm on is the 3rd style I hate but i'll try to change it again but knowing me I would still hate it.

I believe you can find a way to draw him that you like. C: And the more you draw, the more you'll like it.
