Despite the cold temperatures, the water flow can't counterbalance the water evaporation, causing a lowering of the sea level. The withdrawal of the sea leave indelible tracks thanks to the great production of evaporites, which accumulate abundantly.
Centro is no longer an island, but the center of a giant steppe called Great Depresseaon: with the invasion of continental species, a huge number of insular species were wiped away... but not all.
