Ciel had fallen to his knees, the pretty face covered in tears and the eyes on nothing but the king he shared his bed with every night for weeks. The king who was holding the shifted body of Eana in his grip, of his king, the just ruler of the kingdom Ciel was born in. If he did what he planned, it would be the end of Ciel's world, the end of everything. The dagger in Cygne's left hand blinked in the twilight and Ciel reached instincly out to him."Don't..." he whispered, the voice broken under tears. "By Leda, my king, don't..."
And something happened.
Cygne's stoic face that never showed any emotion, changed. His cold green eyes lost their clouds and he stared at the white boy who was crouching in the dirt, begging not only for the life of the swan he was threatening to kill. No. Ciel was begging for Cygne's life...
